Pam Loos
Preschool Director |
Pam has been Director of St. Mary’s Preschool since 2002. She is a graduate of the University of
Tennessee/Martin and is a parishioner at Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church. She and her husband, Dave, have three children:
Daniel is a student at St. Mary’s Catholic School; Olivia and
Katie Grace both attend St. Mary’s Preschool.

Sally Tranberg
Assistant Administrator

Ms. Sally has been with the Preschool since 1990. She and her
husband have two grown sons – Thomas is a police officer and
Timothy is a student at Clarksville’s Austin Peay State
University. |

Katie Bell Teacher, 1 year olds |
Ms.
Katie is from Erin, Tennessee and graduated from
Austin Peay State University. She has a son and
plans to be married next year. Ms. Katie attends
night school at the Nashville School of Law. She
loves children and teaching - those one-year-olds
always give her a reason to smile! |
Marisela Johnson Teacher,
2 year olds |
Ms.
Marisela worked with the one-year-olds before she
began her days as the two-year-olds teacher. She is
a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and is
married with three children who have all attended
St. Mary's Preschool. |
Denise Johnson Teacher
Assistant, 2 year olds |
Ms.
Denise has been in Clarksville for a number of years
and is a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She
has worked with children for almost 30 years; this
includes working in day care centers, religious
education, and homeschooling four of her six
children. She looks forward to teaching two year
olds who are ready to take on the world! |

Nancy Howell
Teacher Assistant, 3 year olds |
Ms. Nancy has 12 years of elementary
school experience, teaching 2nd and 4th grade children. She and
her husband have been married for 16 years and have four
children. |
 Debbie Flowers
Teacher, 3 year olds |
A Clarksville native, Ms. Debbie has been with St. Mary’s
Preschool for 20 years and currently teaches one of the
three-year-old classes. She is also a member of Immaculate
Conception Church. She and her husband, David, have three grown
sons – two of which are still nearby at Austin Peay State
University. |

Sharon Engeman
Teacher, 3 year olds

Ms. Sharon also teaches three-year-olds. She holds an elementary
education degree and taught first and second graders before she
and her husband started their family of five children, most of
whom are grown. Sharon is from Kansas and loves words, crossword
puzzles and alphabets. |
 Susan Rudolph
Teacher, 4 year olds |
Nineteen years ago Ms. Susan began teaching the four-year-olds
at St. Mary’s Preschool when her five-year-old daughter wanted
to take dance lessons. She is still with us and is dedicated to
giving children a jumpstart into the world of learning in a fun
and creative way. She is a graduate of Austin Peay State
University and has raised three children – now grown and/or in
college, but all past students of the Preschool. |
 Lori Akscin –
Teacher assistant, 4 year olds |
Originally from Long Island, NY where she went to college, Ms.
Lori is married, enjoys working with children and has a real
fondness for all animals. |
 Michelle Martin
Teacher, Pre-K

Ms. Michelle has been at the Preschool several years, teaching
one-year-olds for a time and also as an aide in the Pre-K
classroom. She and her husband have two children who are former
preschool students. She likes to paint, sew and craft in her
spare time – and loves teaching preschoolers. They are so much
fun and they keep you on your toes! |

Susan Brown
Teacher Assistant, Pre-K |
Ms. Susan is another
Clarksville native and teaches three-year-olds at
the preschool. She is a graduate of Austin Peay and
on the weekends teaches Sunday School at the First
Baptist Church here in Clarksville. She is a
familiar face at the Preschool, serving as a
substitute teacher for five years. Ms. Susan is
married with three children who all attended St.
Mary’s Preschool and kindergarten. |

 Edie Spencer
Custodian
|
Ms. Edie has been working at Immaculate Conception since 1990. A
native of Berlin, Germany she first arrived in the states in
1960 and to Clarksville in 1976. She and her husband have three
children, two grandchildren and a spoiled little dog! |
